FBS 999 demo forex contest is now opened for registration

FBS, a dynamic forex broker that last month was named Best Forex Broker Asia, announced that the registration for its 999 demo-contest is now opened.

The idea of the contest is pretty simple: each participant gets a demo account with 9999 USD balance in it and 1:100 leverage. You can trade 28 major currency pairs and EAs are allowed.

Admiral Markets: Thousands in ForexBall Competition

In September, the Admiral Markets Group will host the third annual ForexBall Competition. With more than 30,000 participants and a total prize pool of $80,000 the ForexBall is one of the largest Forex competitions worldwide.

The third round is about to start and again will see thousands of traders compete in a highly competitive environment, trying to make the most of their $5,000 starting capital in just two weeks. More details are here:

Tens of thousands of traders from all over the world and only one goal: To become the ForexBall trading champion. With more than 30,000 participants and a total prize pool of $80,000 the ForexBall Trading Championship, organized by the Admiral Markets Group, is one of the largest Forex competitions worldwide. The third round of this year’s contest will start on September 10, 2012.

In the ForexBall, all participants start out with $5,000 of demo money in their Admiral Markets demo account – and have two weeks to make the most of it! In different rounds throughout the year the top earners win cash prizes and a ticket to the final round at the end of the year. There, the best traders from all over the world compete for the title of ForexBall champion and even more cash prizes. The total prize pool distributed among winners is $80,000, all for immediate withdrawal.

“The ForexBall is a highly competitive contest”, says Dmitri Laush, Executive Vice President of the Admiral Markets Group, the organizer of the competition. “Only the five best players of each region make it to the Final. Long-term strategies – as traders would usually employ them for their own accounts – don’t work for the ForexBall, as it only lasts two weeks. Participants therefore have to risk it all to make it to the top.” Player Timurko from Uzbekistan, who topped the second round of this year’s ForexBall in May, demonstrated that: He turned his starting capital of $5,000 into a profit of nearly $130,000. “The ForexBall is a unique chance for participants to trade risky and short-term, like they never would with their own money”, Laush adds.

The competition is held for the third time this year. In four standard rounds throughout the year, traders compete against fellow players from their regions. The top five earners of each region in the respective rounds get a chance to participate in the final round – only the 160 best contestants worldwide will make it to this exclusive circle. In the two rounds already concluded in 2012, more than 6,500 players participated. In the past, the ForexBall attracted more than 30,000 traders yearly.

In order to enter (the "Contest"), you must agree to the following terms and conditions set forth on this page (the "Rules"). Because you will be bound by these Rules and these Rules will form a legally binding agreement with respect to this Contest, please read them carefully. You may not enter the Contest and you will not be eligible for the prizes described in these Rules unless you agree to these Rules. You agree that registration for this Contest and/or entry in the Contest constitutes your agreement to these Rules.

Contest Term & Registration
1. The Contest starts at 12:00 PM (GMT - Greenwich Mean Time) on Friday, September 14th, 2012 and ends at 12:00 PM (GMT - Greenwich Mean Time) on Monday, October 15th, 2012.
2. Individuals at least 18 years of age or older, may participate in the Contest. IamFX reserves the right to refuse any person as an entrant.
3. All former and current employees of IamFX Inc. , and each of its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, "IamFX") and such employees' immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are prohibited from participating in the Contest.
4. Every participant is allowed to have only one competition demo account. More than one demo account is grounds for disqualification.
5. A demo account must be opened with IamFX. (Use ONLY the above sign up form to have an account issued to you automatically). To provide equal opportunity to all eligible participants, the contest will be conducted using IamFX’s MT4 demo trading platform that provides functionalities and access to products that may be unavailable or restricted depending on a trader’s residence.
6. Each participating demo accounts start with a $50,000 balance and a 200:1 leverage. Maximal position size is limited to 1000 lot. Demos are blocked from trading before the competition starts.
7. To be eligible for participation, you must be willing to let your name, and demo account trading record for the time period of the contest be published and/or distributed by IamFX, its agents, subsidiaries, successors and Myfxbook during and after the life of the contest. Any personal information, including without limitation, the your name, age, address (including postcode), telephone number and/or email address (Personal Data) will be used (i) in connection with the Contest which you entered, (ii) for any purpose to which you gave your express consent on entry (iii) as set out in these Contest Rules . Your Personal Data will not be disclosed to any third party, except for the purpose of fulfilling the prize(s) where applicable unless you gave your express consent to this on entry.
8. Winners (top 3) are those with the largest demo account equity at the end of the contest period.


Prizes
9. $5,000 in total prizes will be given out. A $3,000 real funded IamFX account will go to first place, $1,500 real funded IamFX account will go to second place and a $500 real funded IamFX account will go to third place. In order to receive a live funded account with IamFX, the participant’s account application will undergo approval process by IamFX. In the event that the live account is not approved, IamFX will give out the prizes in the same amounts to the next contestant with the highest ending equity. Funds deposited by IamFX as a prize can only be withdrawn after 30 days from the date of deposit.
10. Contest winners are eligible to become Featured Master Traders on IamFX MT4 Trade Copier (industry first MT4 server based trade replicator system with performance success fee) and continue profiting from their trading knowledge and expertise.
11. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees that they are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with such prize including but not limited to any income, profits and gains and any other tax, duty, contribution, levy or charge in the nature of tax of any nature, whether domestic or foreign, federal or state.
12. All prizes are in USD. If a winner wishes to receive their prize in another currency they may do so however the value of the USD prize will not change. In such an event, the prize in USD will be converted to the selected currency as at the conversion rate delivered by IamFX.
13. Be aware that IamFX does not accept US clients. In case a US participant is one of the winners of the contest, the prize will be paid out to such participant by Myfxbook.
14. Correct contact details must be provided in order to claim your prize. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.


Conditions and Limitation of Liability
14. Traders can choose to opt out from the contest before and during the contest. By not opting out, you are subject to the contest's rules. Opting out will disqualify you from the contest. To opt out, please contact MyFXbook directly.
15. IamFX has sole discretion in determining whether a client's deposit and/or trading activity entitles them to retain the prize credit.
16. IamFX has sole discretion to disqualify any entrant, participant or winner found in violation of these contest rules or if IamFX determines that such action is reasonable or necessary.
17. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you indemnify and agree to keep indemnified IamFX at all times from and against any liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses resulting from any act, default or omission by you and/or a breach of any representation and warranty by you set forth herein. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you indemnify and agree to keep indemnified IamFX at all times from and against any liability, actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses for or in respect of which IamFX will or may become liable by reason of or related or incidental to any act, default or omission by you under these rules including without limitation resulting from or in relation to any breach, non-observance, act or omission whether negligent or otherwise, pursuant to these Rules by you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to hold IamFX, its directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by your participation in the Contest and/or use or acceptance of any prize won.
18. To the extent permitted by law, the rights to litigate, to seek injunctive relief or to any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this Contest are hereby excluded, and you expressly waive any and all such rights. Notwithstanding the foregoing, unless otherwise agreed, these Rules and their enforcement are governed by the laws of Republic of Panama, without regard to principles of conflicts of law, and shall inure to the benefit of IamFX's successors and assigns, whether by merger, consolidation, or otherwise.
19. IamFX reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend these Rules, including extending the trading period, postponing the starting date, adding prizes, adding bonuses, and/or canceling or suspending part or this entire Contest at any time by posting such amendments to these Rules online. If the entrant does not wish to accept any amendment to these Rules, the entrant's sole remedy is to withdraw from the Contest.
20. If any provision(s) of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
21. Unless the context otherwise requires, references to any gender include all genders and use of the singular includes the plural and vice versa.

Though MetaTrader 4 demo accounts attempt to replicate real-time market scenarios, there are key differences that distinguish it from a live account; including, but not limited to, the lack of dependence on real-time market liquidity. In addition, MetaTrader 4 demo accounts may impair results achieved in a live scenario.
